PROGRAMMES ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. DEPARTMENT OF LAND MANAGEMENT AND VALUATION
Bachelor of Science in Land Management and Valuation (B.Sc. LMV)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Geography, Economics, Advanced Mathematics, History, English Literature, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics at A-Level or at least a ‘C’ grade in Mathematics and a “D” grade in English Language at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent Qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Land Management and Valuation, Land Use Planning or Land Resources Management with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Bachelor of Science in Property and Facilities Management (B.Sc. PFM)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Geography, Economics, Advanced Mathematics, History, English Literature, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics at A-Level or at least a ‘C’ grade in Mathematics and a ‘D’ grade in English Language at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent Qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Maintenance or Land Management and Valuation with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Doctor of Philosophy in Land Administration (By Coursework & Dissertation)
Entry Qualifications Relevant Master’s Degree of the Ardhi University or holder of equivalent standing Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
2. DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES
Bachelor of Science in Real Estate (Finance and Investment) (B.Sc. REFI)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, History, Geography, Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. In addition, an applicant must have a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics and English Language at A-Level or at least a “D” grade in English Language/ English Literature and Mathematics at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent Qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Finance, Accounting and Banking with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics or English or a minimum of “D” grade in Mathematics or English at O-Level
Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (B.Sc. AF)
ii) Equivalent Qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Accounting, Accountancy,Taxation, Public Sector Accounting and Finance and Public Sector Financial Management with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics or English or a minimum of “D” grade in Mathematics or English at O-Level.
Master of Science in Real Estate (MSc. RE) - (By Coursework & Dissertation)
Entry Qualifications
At least a second class grade or above BSc. degree in Land Management and Valuation, Urban and Regional Planning, Building Economics, Architecture, Land Surveying, Environmental Engineering , Geography, Economics, Commerce or Civil Engineering from Ardhi University or any other relevant degree from Ardhi University or a recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning. OR A relevant Postgraduate Diploma of the Ardhi University or any other relevant degree from a recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning.
Master of Science in Real Estate (MSc. LM) - (By Thesis)
A minimum of a Second Class Upper Division, Bachelor degree in Land Management and Valuation of the Ardhi University or its equivalent from Ardhi Univesity or any other recognized Univesity or Institution of Higher Learning.
Doctor of Philosophy in Real Estate Economics (By Coursework & Dissertation)
3. DEPARTMENT OF GEOSPATIAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY
Diploma in Geo-informatics (GFM4)
Direct Entry qualifications Either a Geomatics or Land Surveying Certificate/Diploma of not less than second class/Credit from a recognized institution Or At least a C.S.E.E. or A.C.S.E.E with a Certificate/Diploma of not less than second class/Credit and working experience of at least two years in relevant fields approved by the University Senate.
Bachelor of Science in Geomatics (BSc GM)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and either Physics, Geography, Chemistry or Computer Science. In case the second principal level pass is not Physics, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Physics at A-Level.
ii) Equivalent qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Cartography, Mining Surveying, Civil Engineering, Civil and Transport Engineering, Irrigation Engineering or Computer Science with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “C” grade in Mathematics and Physics at O-Level.
Bachelor of Science in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing (BSc GI & RS)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Computer Science, Biology, Economics or Agriculture. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics at A-Level or at least a ‘C’ grade at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Cartography, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks, Computing and Information Communication, Civil Engineering, Civil and Transportation Engineering, Mining Surveying, with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics or a minimum of “C” grade in Mathematics at O-Level
Master of Science in Geomatics (MSc. Gm) - (By Coursework & Dissertation)
Entry Qualifications A second Class or above BSc. degree in Geomatics or Land Surveying or any other relevant degree from Ardhi University or a recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning. OR A Postgraduate Diploma in Geomatics or Land Surveying from Ardhi University or any other relevant degree from a recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning.
Master of Science in Geomatics (MSc. Gm) - (By Thesis)

Doctor of Philosophy in Geospatial Sciences (PhD GS) – By Thesis
Entry Qualifications A Master Degree in Geomatics or Land Surveying or Geoinformatics or Geodetic Science from Ardhi University or any other relevant Masters Degree from a recognized University
4. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND MATHEMATICS
Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems and Networks (BSc CSN)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Economics or Computer Science. In addition, a candidate must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics at ALevel or a minimum of “C” grade in Basic Mathematics at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networks, Computing and Information Communication, Land Surveying or Geomatics with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management (BSc. ISM)
i) Direct Entry (Form VI) Qualifications Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Computer Science/ICT, Physics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry or Economics. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics at A-Level or credit pass in Basic Mathematics at O-Level.
ii) Equivalent Qualifications Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networks, Computing and Information Communication, Electronics or Land Surveying and Geomatics with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
